Medicinal Bottle & Contents- Amer. Civil War Mus.,VA



The bottle is part of a wooden medical chest (.991) with a handle on each side and a drawer at the bottom. An inscription on the top of the chest reads: “Presented by the City of Richmond to Co. H, Richmond Sharpshooters. The chest contains a bottle in which is preserved a snake and a lizard caught by the donor of the chest, E.E. DePriest.”
