Excerpt- An impacted musket ball (i.e., one that was fired and struck something/somebody) was also found today! This evidence strongly suggests that this feature is indeed the British Siege trench. Excellent work by the archaeologists and historians at The Charleston Museum and Historic Charleston Foundation and the students in the College of Charleston field school!
